Last time I painted in oil was 2008. Several reasons lead me to it. Today i'm feeling poorly and sick again. Mood down... I pick up the canvas pad, the oils and started to paint. Well not immediately...it took me a while to open the oils tubes... glued from the lack of use... But not anymore. I had to paint this photo of my son when he was five (he doesn't like it...but when he saw the painting he was like wow...good compliment)...I'm the opposite of the romantic idea of a painter that only paints when he/she's feeling down, druged or drunk...when I'm down I cannot do anything... can't concentrate but today it helped me.
