SKETCHBOOK PROJECT...

Yes, the sketchbook project officially takes off this week
I'm participating in Jeff Lafferty's sketchbook project.
Each artist will draw one page. There's no theme.
The sketchbook will travel around the world and if all goes according to plan it will take an year and half to go back to Jeff!! Amazing!

ANNOUNCEMENT...

No more You Tube videos!
Today I decide to stop uploading my videos on You Tube and I deleted the ones already there!
I like doing videos, I enjoy the process but I don't have good equipment (I have a Panasonic Lumix model DMC-FS42 and my phone camera HTC Desire 620 is 8MP back/5Mp front) to show my art or my drawing/painting process. I was just filming Unboxing Videos and photos... they where crap.
I not saying you shouldn't do it if you only have equipment like mine. Please do it!
Don't let my opinion stop you! I'm the one who is  not comfortable anymore!

I will for sure continue to upload videos HERE on my blog!
For the future I really, really want a semi-professional or professional camera, preferable a Nikon! Who knows...

BAD APPLES 12 DAYS DAY 7...

..is Stocking.
   When I was think about this theme several ideas came to mind. But there was none better than the real thing.
  There is so much you can carry in 3 suitcases on a airplane with weight limitations! And one of the suitacases is for art materials and some books in Portuguese for my son. Moving to another country isn't easy and leaving behind 36 years of precious belongings no small fee (books mainly)!
  The only Christmas decorations that made the cut was the stocking and the top Christmas star. They are very special to me!

Japanese Soup.
My hand and spoon are covering an accident. The brush fell down with dark brown watercolour. A tiny superficial 'hole' was made when I tried to clean it up.

UNBOXING NOVEMBER SCRAWLR BOX

How I've missed open this box of wonders!!!!

It was to dark to make a film with my Lumix Camera so there will be no Youtube video this month. I couldn't wait until tomorrow to open the box.

This month the featured Artist is Emma. 

She is the founder and creative director of Black Chalk Collective.

The surprise materials were all new to me and they are:

-Artline Stix Brush Pens in Black, Blue and Purple. They can be clipped together using the special features on the barrel (which for me makes it not so comfortable to hold and draw)

-Artline Stix Colouring Marker in Grey. Can be clipped to the other ones.

-Ecoline Brush Pens 548 Blue Violet and 522 Turquoise Blue. Concentrated formula. Watercolour ink.

-Edding 1200 mettalic red (gorgeous dark tone)

-Crayola Broad Tip Marker in Yellow.
-Practice paper
-Instruction sheet: Simple techniques to enhance your lettering
