URBAN SKETCHING!!!

It's been a long time since I last did one sketching on location!!!
But today is so windy, cold and very sunny... Crazy weather!!!!
Two weeks ago I put some Tibetan prayer flags on my clothes line and I was waiting for the perfect  moment to sketch them or plein air paint them with oils.

It's hard to paint background vegetation  like this. I always avoid it but couldn't do it here!!!
Never mind the overgrown hedge due to the overgrown bramble. The bramble is overgrown because the birds love the berries so much... proof of it? Purple poo everywhere (I know kids humour, oh well).

The materials used were: Faber-Castell 9000 2B
                                         Winsor and Newton Watercolour
Faber-Castell Pitt Artist pen Black 199*** XS
                                         Canson Art Book One
